In 2007, AlertAsia signed a contract with Oxford University to support their activities in Indonesia under the SEA ICRN. AlertAsia was in charge of a broad range of technical and administrative responsibilities, including in helping to establish the Eijkman-Oxford clinical Research Unit (EOCRU).
Under this agreement, ALERTASIA, through an established taskforce provided several trainings to staff of the institutions and organizations joined in SEA ICRN, such as English training at SuliantiSuroso hospital, Data Management training at SuliantiSurosodanPersahabatan hospitals. ALERTAsia also provided support to those organizations in conducting their researches as part of the SEA ICRN project. ALERTAsia also heavily involved in renovating one microbiology laboratory at Eijkman Institute.
