In 2007, ALERTAsia signed a contract with Oxford University to support its activities in Indonesia under the SEA ICRN. ALERTAsia was in charge of a broad range of technical and administrative responsibilities, including to support the establishment of the Eijkman-Oxford clinical Research Unit (EOCRU).
Under this agreement, ALERTAsia, through an established taskforce provided several trainings to staff of the institutions and organizations joined in SEA ICRN, such as English training at Sulianti Suroso hospital, and Data Management training at Sulianti Saroso and Persahabatan hospitals. ALERTAsia also provided support to those organizations to conduct their researches as part of the SEA ICRN project. ALERTAsia also heavily involved in renovating one microbiology laboratory at Eijkman Institute.
