This project is carried under the Cooperative Agreement for the “Global Health Security Partner Engagement: Expanding Efforts and Strategies to Protect and Improve Public Health Globally”. ALERTAsia is responsible for the grant management and procurements.
During this project ALERTAsia has established partnerships with Persatuan Ahli Epidemiologi Indonesia (PAEI) – Indonesia Epidemiology Association, Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Indonesia Country Office, and Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP), a working unit under Directorate of Surveillance, Immunization, and Health Quarantine- Directorate General of Disease Control and Prevention – Indonesia Ministry of Health to strengthen Epidemiology workforce in Indonesia.
The main activities include strengthening system for FETP students at universities, capacity development for Indonesian Epidemiologists Association, and development of organizational capacity for FETP.
